Do Not Drink Alcohol … Gamble
If you like to indulge in a beer every now and then, keep your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a brick and mortar betting house. I am serious. clean out your handbag, your wallet, and leave all money, debit cards and checks at home. Take just the cash you are planning to use on alcohol, tips and whatever pocket coins you intend to lose and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not really. Realistic really. You might well discover a success after a boozy evening out with your friends and be lucky enough to hit a marathon roll at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that story because it’s as brief as it gets if you constantly drink and bet. The 2 just do not mix.
Leaving your cash at home is a bit excessive, however precautionary actions for drastic actions is relative and necessary. If you bet to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and wager. If you are able to afford to throw away your money without a worry, then drink all the free alcohol your gut can handle, but do not take debit cards and checks to toss into the combination of chasing losses after your inebriated brain squanders everything!
