If you commit to using this approach you must have a vast pocket book and incredible fortitude to walk away when you earn a tiny win. For the purposes of this story, an example buy in of $2,000 is used.

The Horn Bet numbers are surely not judged the "successful way to compete" and the horn bet itself carries a house advantage of over 12 %.

All you are playing is $5 on the pass line and ONE number from the horn. It doesn’t matter if it is a "craps" or "yo" as long as you play it routinely. The Yo is more prominent with players using this scheme for obvious reasons.

Buy in for $2,000 when you sit down at the table but put only five dollars on the passline and one dollar on either the two, three, eleven, or 12. If it wins, beautiful, if it does not win press to $2. If it does not win again, press to $4 and then to eight dollars, then to sixteen dollars and after that add a one dollar every time. Every instance you lose, bet the last value plus another dollar.

Adopting this system, if for instance after fifteen tosses, the number you selected (11) has not been thrown, you surely should step away. Although, this is what possibly could happen.

On the 10th roll, you have a sum total of $126 on the table and the YO finally hits, you gain three hundred and fifteen dollars with a profit of one hundred and eighty nine dollars. Now is an excellent time to step away as it’s higher than what you entered the game with.

If the YO does not hit until the twentieth roll, you will have a total investment of $391 and seeing as current bet is at $31, you come away with $465 with your profit being $74.

As you can see, using this system with just a $1.00 "press," your take becomes smaller the longer you gamble on without succeeding. This is why you must step away after a win or you must wager a "full press" once more and then advance on with the $1.00 boost with each hand.

Carefully go over the numbers before you try this so you are very adept at when this approach becomes a non-winning affair instead of a winning one.
