Gamblers at a Craps Table
If you are looking for thrills, noise and more enjoyment than you can stand, then craps is the only game to bet on.
Craps is a fast-paced game with high-rollers, budget gamblers, and everyone in between. If you are a people-watcher this is one game that you’ll like to observe. There’s the high-roller, gambling with a large bank roll and making boisterous declarations when she wagers across the board, "520 dollars across," you’ll hear them say. She’s the player to observe at this game and they know it. They will either win big or lose big-time and there’s no in between.
There is the budget gambler, most likely attempting to acquaint himself with the high-roller. they will let the other bettors of books he’s read through on dice tossing and hang around the most accomplished tosser at the craps table, prepared to confer and "pick each others minds".
There’s the student of Frank Scoblete most recent craps class. Although Frank is the best there is, his disciple will have to do his homework. This player will require five mins to set his dice, so apply understanding.
My preferred people at the table are the true gentlemen from the good old days. These elderly guys are generally patient, almost always kind and will almost always share hints from the "great ole days."
When you take the plunge and choose to join the game, make certain you use good etiquette. Locate a position on the rail and lay your money on the table in front of you in the "come" area. Refrain from doing this when the pair of dice are being tossed or you will become known as the final character I wanted to mention, the jerk.
